MODULE 1 | MIND

When a person truly understands their mind and how it works, it unlocks their ability to live and work without limit and achieve their potential. In this class, I share a simple model for understanding the mind, what creates your unique and individual interpretation of your world, and the impact this has on your behaviour. We review the impact of past events and beliefs, and how these create the world as you see it but not necessarily as it is.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The roles of the conscious, unconscious, and critical faculty and how you build or change unconscious actions to your advantage.
  • How you interpret the world around you and the impact this has on your behaviour and what changes you can make to improve your performance
  • Your responses as a product of your past decisions, memories, and beliefs and your world is created rather than experienced, and how you can move from a biased interpretation of your life to one of experience.

Increase your understanding of your self and why you think like you think, including your thoughts, behaviours, and natural responses.

MODULE 2 | BELIEFS

We are what we believe; the world around us is as we expect it to be, and rarely do we question it or ourselves. Once we understand why we believe what we believe, we unlock the potential to change our belief systems. Letting go of beliefs and past negative events which hold us back from achieving our true and authentic potential. Building new and empowering beliefs which support us to change and achieve the life and career, we desire and deserve.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • Why you believe what you believe and how you are the product of your life experience to date.
  • How to identify and overcome limiting beliefs and how to create new empowering beliefs.
  • How to identify and overcome negative events through increased understanding.

MODULE 3 | VALUES

When we understand what is important to us, we can assess our life and career and identify where we are living in conflict with what we value. Values-based living supports us to ultimately live happy and healthier lives with decreased stress and increased motivation as we strive towards personal and professional goals which achieve our core objectives. Aligning our values with those of the organisation we work with supports us in achieving satisfaction in our roles while delivering high-value performance.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The importance of values-based living.
  • Your values, the impact of values breaches, and how you can align personal values with those of your organisation.
  • Your primary driver and understanding how to make it work for you.

MODULE 4 | PURPOSE

We are all striving for purpose, and this leaves us feeling like we are not doing what we want or were intended to do. Our lives and careers can leave us feeling unfulfilled as at our core we do not know what it is we want or how we are here to serve. Once we understand the value we bring to our world; we can create a life and career which achieves our core purpose. Identifying and understanding your purpose is the key to answering the question ‘why am I here?’ and to begin a journey to achieving your potential.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The model of Ikigai and how you can use this to identify your reason for being, where what you love and are good at meeting with what is needed and for which you can be paid.
  • How you can review your life to date and identify the key themes which will support you to find your why.
  • The role of being in ‘flow’ and how we can use this to find fulfilment.

Increase your sense of purpose and begin to identify the value you bring to both your life and the world around you.

MODULE 5 | CONFIDENCE

Of all the skills, understanding, gaining, and maintaining confidence can transform a person’s life. A lack of confidence can leave a person trapped in their current life as is, fearful of making changes or setting goals, and seemingly at standstill and on the brink of panic. Comparatively, confidence has the potential to free a person to achieve success in every area of their life; their career, relationships, and goals. Truly living a life outside of their comfort zone and seemingly without limits.  It is confidence that liberates us from the time and energy wasted on thinking and worrying what other people think us now, and if we were to take action; all of which is a distraction to us achieving our true and authentic potential. Confidence allows us to truly be ourselves without fear of judgement or reprisal and finally achieve the authenticity so key to living a full life.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The role of vulnerability and how you can overcome your fear of loss of dignity and pride to support you to own your weaknesses, make friends with your inner idiot and achieve the confidence to step into your stretch zone regularly and begin to move forward and upward throughout life.
  • How to overcome imposter syndrome and comparing yourself to others to escape the constant fear of being found out and allow yourself to own and celebrate your achievements while confidently achieving goals.
  • How to continually assess your level of confidence in all areas of your life and identify the things you need to let go of and the things you need to grasp with self-empathy to maintain a healthy and fruitful relationship with confidence.

A deeper understanding of the role confidence plays in your life and how you can achieve it through acceptance to make decisions and take actions without limits; believing it’s possible, you can do it, and you deserve it.

MODULE 6 | RESILIENCE

Stress is a natural and important part of our human experience. Understanding stress and how it benefits us in all aspects of our lives is the key to living with increased resilience. When we understand the positive impact of stress, we can better identify the negative experiences of stress and how we can reduce these. Equipping ourselves with tools and techniques, we can utilise when we experience stress, we support ourselves in preventing the harmful physical and mental impacts on our wellbeing in both the short and long term.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The impact of stress on your physical and mental wellbeing.
  • The role of the comfort, stretch, and panic zones, and how stress can support us to improve your resilience, increase your performance, and grow.
  • The tools and techniques you can use to manage with stress, including the stress cycle, locus of control, and safety zones.

Understand how resilience can support you to achieve your potential while identifying negative stress triggers, how you can prevent these impacting you, and how you can alleviate stress as and when it occurs.

MODULE 7 | MINIMALISM

We have created a world of excess and this leaves us often feeling overwhelmed by the volume of possessions we have. Everything from our overpacked wardrobes and drawers, to our kitchen cupboards over spilling, and our book cabinets and living spaces brimming over with possessions we think we need or simply haven’t given any thought to for longer than we would like to admit. This causes us to close off from our living spaces rather than engaging with them and we are often then drawn into our technology and our digital world. Filling our time with a never-ending stream of entertainment often nonvalue add, engaging socially with others but feeling less human connection than ever, overcoming uncomfortable emotions by buying more items online and then squeezing them into our homes.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • Understand the roots of minimalism, how it has existed through ancient traditions and religions, and the short- and long-term benefits to creating a healthy relationship with having less.
  • How to create a more meaningful and purposeful living space through taking the opportunity to declutter and organise your possessions and can create a home you can once again live in at peace including completing a 30-day challenge.
  • Cultivating digital minimalism through increasing your understanding of how technology has been designed to exploit our brain chemistry and functions and how you can create a healthy relationship with technology through conscious use.

Learn how to create a more meaningful world both physically and digitally to start living and stop simply existing and rather than it controlling you, you put yourself back in control of your home and technology.

MODULE 8 | DEVELOPMENT

When we leave education, we can lead ourselves to believe learning and development ended there. As we enter our careers, we will learn that which is needed for us to carry out the requirements of our role and training can seem like it is being forced upon us rather than opted in to. We achieve a better life and career when we understand the value and importance of personal and professional development and how we commit to this. Only when we proactively develop do we support ourselves to identify and achieve our goals, and ultimately, our potential.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The tools you can use to audit your life and career, including the Wheel of Life and SWOT Analysis.
  • How you can identify and utilise role models to highlight development areas.
  • Your learning style and how you can use this to discover the best interventions and strategies to support your development.

Understand the role development plays in your life and career and how committing to this gives you a head start, regularly utilising simple tools and techniques to plan a future on your terms.

MODULE 9 | GOALS

We aspire to more than we are, but rarely do we set the goals we need to commit to achieving this improved life and career. Goals can often overwhelm us and leave us feeling like we cannot identify the steps we need to take to achieve them, and therefore we reconcile to defeat in the short-term and don’t recognise we are losing in the long-term too. When we understand the tools and techniques we can use to break down life or career goals; they move from something which once felt impossible to now being in reach. Partner this plan with an inspiring goal and you are en route to achieving your potential.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • The GROW Model for identifying the next step to achieving your goals.
  • The SMART Model for documenting and tracking your goals.
  • How to overcome procrastination, achieving motivation through inspiration, and utilise visualisation.

Understand the simple tools and techniques you can use to plan to achieve your goals, track your progress, and how you can maintain motivation until the day of success.

MODULE 10 | COMMUNICATION

At the core of our relationships with others is our ability to communicate, to listen and be heard. Understanding communication and our role within it gives us the confidence to interact with others through a variety of settings: be that in person, one-to-one, in a team setting, presentation, or digitally. When we harness the power of positive communication, we improve our performance and what we achieve, while positively increasing our impact on others. A great communicator will inspire others into action while achieving their personal and professional objectives.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of:

  • What is listening and how to listen beyond the words
  • How to utilise questioning, including the 80/20 rule and funnel technique.
  • How to communicate confidently and build rapport.

One of the keys to success in your life and career is your ability to form and maintain positive and healthy relationships with others. A key to successful relationships is understanding your role within them and how you can utilise tools and techniques to better understand others, their intentions, and your impact on them.

  • How to manage conflict and maintain a healthy relationship.
  • The power of changing your view through perceptual positions and transactional analysis.
